A. When you sign up with RPPS, we will schedule a pet sitter to come to your home for an initial "meet and greet" — to meet your pet, become familiar with your home/routine, and discuss all pertinent information about your pet's needs.
A. Yes! We do not disclose client information of any kind to third parties. All client information is protected by RPPS and accessed/utilized only in such a manner as to be able to fulfill our assignment obligations.
A. We definitely prefer to offer your visits to the same Pet Sitter each time, however if that sitter is not available for some reason, a fully informed substitute from our staff will always be available for back up.
A. At our “meet and greet”, we are provided with a copy of your home keys, which are stored safely. We will test all keys and make sure we understand your alarm system at this initial meeting. Our key rings have no identifying information (just in case they are lost or stolen). During each visit, our pet sitters will follow the instructions provided by you on our client/pet forms to ensure that we keep your home safe and in the same condition that you left it to us. Please refer to our policies and our client/pet forms by clicking here.
A. Standard Vacation Visits and Dog Walks are a full 20-, 30- or 45- minutes in length (at your choosing), and are accompanied with a log that specifies visit times, services performed and any comments your sitter thinks you might find interesting or informative about your pet's behavior.
A. We care for most animals, as long as they do not pose a danger to our staff. We do not care for any animals with a history of attack training, biting, fighting or attacking other animals or people.
A. Ruffly Purrfect Pet Services and all of our staff are covered by our bonding and insurance policies to the maximum levels available.
A. Ruffly Purrfect Pet Services foremost priority is the safety and security of our clients, their pets and their property. Our Pet Sitters undergo an extensive screening process before they are hired, including reference checks and background history checks.
A. We will administer medication: pills, drops, injections and subcutaneous fluids at no additional charge but based on our ability to refer a sitter to you that is experienced in administering your pet's particular type of medication. We will not administer medication to any animal that poses a danger to our staff members.
